New Cook's Meat and Potato Slice

A return trip to Biddulph to try out New Cooks. Outside they’re offering home made meat and potato pie with mushy peas and gravy but when you step inside there is nothing on display. Technically there is pie but it's one big school dinner style tray sized pie at £1.20 a slice. It'll do. A novel way of approaching matters, I nevertheless get to consume a slab of pastry roughly the size of a house brick for just over a quid. It is chunky and bulging out of the three sided crust but I can’t take to it as technically, it is just a piece of somebody else’s pie PERMANENTLY CLOSED
