Wienholts Steak Pie

Wayne Rooney's local pie shop produces a pocket rocket of the highest order. Delightfully soft, flaky pastry gives way to a gravy tsunami with bountiful chunks of steak in there too which come tumbling out like little bouncing bombs. All that's missing is the Dambusters theme tune. If Barry Davies was to have this pie he'd opine that you have to say that's magnificent. An astonishing taste sensation. The most sumptuous gravy you will ever encounter and lashings of it. It's heavily seasoned with a raging peppery kick to it which positively explodes in my mouth.
