Very much in the Scotch pie shape, but the top crust is flakier than a politician’s promise. Having been out of work for a few weeks now, I am sporting a particularly fetching beard, which serves as a fertile nesting area for the millions of flakes falling off the pie. Not keen. The pie consists of brown and occasionally pink steak meat along with some black haggis. I don’t personally find the haggis offensive or exhilarating, it adds an extra component to the flavour but this pie is let down in general due to being dryer than a sunburnt prune
