The pie presents in the now familiar circular tin form, with a generous blob of dried cheese of top as a prelude to what lurks inside. It is not the deepest but there are plenty of robust luscious chunks of steak. The steak tastes thorough and competent and each chunk I suck out slips down with ease but I perhaps expected a bit more from the cheese. Sometimes the truth is in the burps and nevertheless mine are exceptionally meaty for several hours afterwards
