Greenhalghs are prevalent in Wigan despite being from across the border in Bolton. They possess a wide range of pies and this time I opt for the season special that is the chicken tikka pie. The crust lid is almost sunken into the filling beneath it but this gives it a real unique handmade feel to it. It contains sizeable chunks of chicken flavoured in a fruity tikka sauce and it has a respectable kick to it.
