Lily’s in Sheffield is a big place, serving bit pies. I order a steak and potato which arrives in a splendidly encased shortcrust. It is served cold but in a delightful wrapper: “God bless Lily’s for real bread and taste!!”. For a flat plate pie, there’s some gigantic chunks of meat and spud packed into it and plenty gravy swilling around too. Like a golden meat filled flat cap!
