After thirty minutes in the oven, this M&S Steak pie has mini-tributaries of gravy are seeping out across the baking tray. Not from the top though, but from the middle which means it falls to pieces when I attempt to remove it. It’s a rich, wholesome, scorching hot pie with golden puff pastry, lashings of gravy and only 515 calories! Not that the price is an issue but I did expect a more premium product. It’s a touch watery and could do with a bit more meat in it with the crisp and golden crust its main redeeming feature.
